CCT Certified Composites Technician
Introduction
The Certified Composites Technician (CCT) program was created in response to the industry’s need for uniform training in technical skills. The goal of all CCT programs is to enhance the overall professionalism and knowledge of individuals involved in composites manufacturing.
The basic CCT program discussed in the study guide overview below focuses on the broad scope of open molding technology.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must be working within the composites industry for at least one year
Candidates must complete the application and be accepted into the program
The exam and study guide focus on the practical aspects of gel coat applications, laminating techniques and safety procedures. This basic program is also available in Spanish and Associate versions. The Associate version is available to individuals who have been in the industry for less than one year.
