1) Transport Canada – Civil Aviation:

On November 28th, 1996, RAA received certification as a Transport Canada ATO –
Approved Training Organization. The ATO Statement of Limitations included;

In December of 2002, Transport Canada unilaterally Archived all approvals for all training organizations that did not teach the entire AME college program, as individual organization course approvals no longer met with the new wording in the C.A.R's.. Since RAA/ACT was and is CAMC approved we still meet with the criteria of Transport Canada “Acceptable Training” as found in Airworthiness Notice #C011. Where our Modules 1 and Module 2 are “… Training courses acceptable for the specified training program of an AMO”.
**For the current status of maintenance training courses and ATO Approvals pursuant to Canadian Aviation Regulations ( C.A.R’s. ) STD 566, refer to the most current editions of “Airworthiness Notice” No. C003, C008, C011 and C012.

2) CAMC – Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council:

On June 25th 1997, the CAMC Accreditation Board granted Renaissance Aeronautics Associates Inc. Accreditation No. CAMC-003, for the Advanced Composites Training Repair Program, Modules #1 and #2, in accordance with the CAMC Module 11 – Aircraft Structural Repair Technician curriculum.

With this approval, RAA became the first private training facility in Canada to hold both Transport Canada ATO Approval and CAMC Accreditation, for our Advanced Composite Aircraft Structural Repair training courses.

3) FAA – Federal Aviation Administration

As of September 17, 2008 RAA/ACT Training now holds United States of America FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) acceptance on all 12 of our Advanced Composites Training Courses.

These Inspection Authorization (IA) Refresher Training Courses are approved as meeting the requirements contained in FAR 65.93(A)(4). Inspection Authorization renewal, and are acceptable towards IA Renewal.

4) ACMA – American Composites Manufacturing Association:

ACT / RAA became a Corporate Member of the ACMA in 1999.

On December 18th, 2003 ACT / RAA president Wilson J. Boynton, CET, CCT became qualified as a “Certified Composites Technician – Instructor” and qualified to exercise all rights and privileges assigned to this designation.

5) CGRP – Controlled Goods Registration Program (Canada):
On September 25th, 2003, RAA was REGISTERED by the Public Works and Government Services Canada, in the Controlled Goods Registration Program.

This certification entitles Renaissance Aeronautics Associates Inc. to examine, possess or transfer controlled goods in accordance with the Defense Production Act and the Controlled Goods Regulations.
