Andrew Phillips, CCT-M

Andy is a real asset as a primary instructor for Advanced Composite Training. His wide ranging career includes over 12 years in Aviation, Aerospace and Marine composite technology applications.  Andy has considerable experience and first-hand knowledge of wet lay-up processes, resin infusion techniques, pre-preg applications and the construction of master production molds. Combined with his expertise in paint and refinishing processes, Andy provides an excellent perception into the wide variety of challenges our trainees are faced with everyday.

Andy shares his commitment to excellence with Renaissance Aeronautics Associates Inc. and with ACT - Advanced Composites Training.

Andy is a Certified Composites Technician – Marine with the ACMA, American Composites Manufacturers Association.

But can he teach? YES! Andy is at his best when sharing what he’s learned as an instructor for on-site structural repair and custom OEM composite training courses.  His presentation style….. Energetic!  Ask any ACT alumni.  Without compromise Andy has an ability to ensure the theory makes sense in the practical applications of Advanced Composite technologies.
